Health & Safety Advisor

This large Public Sector organisation is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor.
You will be accountable for:

-Administering and managing health and safety training arrangements
-Managing and rolling out DSE training and assessments
-Providing expert competent advice, help and support to management and staff on meeting the companies statutory responsibilities
-Developing, reviewing and delivering a programme of inspections of permanent and temporary workplaces monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation

You will have a strong working knowledge of the requirements and application of the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992, Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and associated Legislation as they affect large public organisations, Civil and Highway Engineering, Construction and Maintenance operations.
