Company Accountant - Maternity Cover

Small but dynamic retail and wholesale Company, based in West London, urgently seeks a Company Accountant for a maternity cover assignment, starting in the next couple of weeks.

This will be a top to bottom role and your duties will include overseeing the sales, purchases and cash management functions, credit control, liaising with the Logistics Manager over supplier and stock queries, managing the EDI function, oversee stock counts and reconciliations, administer the payroll function and support with financial consultant in the preparation of management and financial reports.

You should be a very flexible accountant who is willing to get involved in all the daily tasks, as is often necessary in a small company environment. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Orderwise would be advantageous, although full training will be given in the one month handover period. You should have several years experience in a finance manager / company accountant position and be part qualified in ACCA or equivalent or QBE.
