Business Development Manager
My client is a leading Insurance Company that is currently recruiting two Business Development Managers to join their Employee Benefits division. The roles will cover the Northern and Southern regions of the UK.
As the successful candidates you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, making appointment to both existing and new business clients in order to generate and develop new product initiatives and opportunities.
You will be solely responsible for account management and delivery of a first class client service including the management reporting of development of a portfolio of clients within your geographical area. In addition you will be out on the road selling direct to IFA's at least 3 days per week to consistently promote and maintain the company's continued commitment to the IFA market.
Candidates must have proven experience within a Life Insurance Company, IFA / Broker Consultant environment. Alternatively insurance candidates working in an insurance company selling direct to intermediaries will also be considered. A sound market knowledge and experience of group risk and/or pension products essential.
As this is a field based role you must be willing to travel and possess a clean driving licence. Educated to 'A' level calibre or equivalent, full FPC or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
