Accountant - 7 Month Contract

This is a rewarding and responsible fixed term contract position until 31st July 2008 for an experienced Accountant with an Accounting qualification and Audit experience of consolidated group accounts. This contract was created to support the production of final accounts during this London Bridge based firm's first year of reporting as an LLP (Limited Liability Partnership). There is also opportunity to assist with the production of budgets and performance reporting in the period leading up to the year ended 30 April 2008.

Essential requirements for this 7 month Accountant contract role include:

Recognised Accounting qualification
Previous experience of audits of international businesses
Previous experience of producing year end consolidated accounts for publication

Key areas of responsibility within this 7 month Accountant contract position include:

Reviewing the Group consolidation system, structure and procedures
Ensuring familiarity with the year end Group timetable
Reviewing comparative data
Assisting with the production of year end Group accounts
Producing the main LLP accounts and sub LLP accounts
Assisting the Management Accounts Team with production of budgets and performance reporting
