Mortgage Manager

Due to the relocation of my Clients business they are seeking a Mortgage Manager with strong organisational skills for their Mortgage Department based in Brighton.

You will be responsible for managing the mortgage department ensuring competent and qualified staff is in place and that key performance targets are achieved in a compliant manner whilst meeting current FSA and other relevant regulations.

In addition you will manage the mortgage pipeline business from application through to completion ensuring all fees are obtained from lenders, solicitors and clients, as well as reconciling revenues and calculating sales bonus payments for mortgage advisors on a monthly basis.

As the successful candidate you will have proven experience gained within a mortgage advising and/or broking environment and will ideally come from either a mortgage broker, IFA or estate agency background with overall market experience coupled with full CEMAP or MAQ qualifications or equivalent.

A level of compliance supervisory experience is essential as you will be additionally responsible for the T&C capability of the advisors, therefore good man management skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a team of professional advisors / administrators is essential for this role.
