PMI/Risk Consultant
London based Consultancy are looking for a Consultant specialising within the Private Medical Insurance/Risk area. You will provide advice and assistance in respect of a range of products including Risk, Life, Critical Illness but the main bulk of this role is focussed on PMI. You will liaise with external clients and also colleagues with the organisation.
Duties will involve:
?assist in the client account management process for a portfolio of clients;
?undertake the administration of their portfolio of clients including renewals, medical underwriting, accounts etc;
?undertake the rebroking of group life, income protection schemes and private medical insurance for their portfolio of clients;
?assist in the training and development of other team members;
?play a proactive role in the development of the Risk Benefit Unit;
?liaise with insurers and assist with gathering market and product information;
?act as a contact point for colleagues within the firm;
Skills and abilities - essential:
?previous experience of working in the group life and income protection market gained through working in a consultancy environment;
?excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with all levels of seniority in the firm and with clients, where appropriate;
?IT literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel (in particular the ability to review and manipulate data);
?an organised and thorough approach to work;
?the initiative to be proactive and take ownership;
?educated to at least ?A? Level standard or equivalent.
Skills and abilities - desirable:
?pensions knowledge;
?educated to degree level or equivalent;
?progress towards CII examinations.
Salary: £35000 - £40000 per annum + excellent benefits
