Assistant General Manager for Branded restaurant in Farnham
we are looking to recruit a assistant general manager for this very busy themed brasserie style restaurant in Farnham
The restaurant can hold 100 cvr and is serving all fresh modern Mediterranean cuisine with an informal but efficient services
The restaurant is part of a very successful group of restaurant. Each of the restaurants in the group have their own identity and are usually situated in stunning location/building
Your responsibility will be to assist the general manager in the day to day running of the business along with all Admin(P&L's, forecast,payroll).
Each General Manager in the group run their restaurant as if it were their own. Area and Operation managers are here to help, control , provide guidance & support when needed to their GM but they do not want to hold your hand .
In this role you will be able to use your financial acumen to meet set target and stick to tight budget.
This company is well organized, has great system in place , offers a great product to their costumer and is developing fast. They are planning to open 10 restaurant by the end of 2008.
Prior to being allocated you your designated site/restaurant, you will complete a four weeks training in one of their restaurant starting to work as a chef in the kitchen to running the all operation without a GM on site on your last three days.
Passion for the services industry and being quality driven with great attention to details and a desire to succeed is paramount, Experiences in a similar position is essential .

In return the company offers a generous salary of 18/20k basic + 6k tronc + 10% Bonus
