Engineering site and operational Mgmt

The Building Engineering Manager (BEM) will support the Corporate Facilities Manager (CFM) to establish and implement the standards and service products within the business covering all Engineering Services at the above site. The successful applicant will lead all operational management of the site engineering shift & day team ensuring that all statutory, business critical and all other engineering plant and systems are maintained and available as determined by the Facilities Management Agreement (FMA) and as detailed within this Terms of Reference.

The Building Engineering Manager is charged with the operational management, direction and effective leadership of the engineering team with the primary objectives of driving engineering service delivery, quality and performance.

The BEM will be expected to positively contribute to the performance, growth and profitibility of the business.

Purpose of the Job

To support the establishment, implementation and maintenance of technical standards, quality system updates, reviews and service solutions to support the performance and profitable growth of the business and the continued availability of business critical plant.

To manage the shift engineering team to ensure that all operational aspects are delivered in accordance with statutory, SHE and the FMA by an agreed programme of qualitative checks and controlled measures and to rectify identified deviation where appropriate.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programs and all technical documentation.


Salary: £45000 - £60000 per hour
