Our Client, a Russian owned news agency employing over 1000 people globally is experience continued growth in their UK markets. Through the production of daily and weekly reports our clients is the recognised leader in industry sectors such as oil and gas. Covering Russia, China, Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS they are experiencing considerable growth and now require an additional Business Development Manager to join their small UK team based in London.

As a London based Business Development Manager you will target the corporate market place seeking out group and individual subscription opportunities for our client's portfolio of Business Information/real-time news products. Your target markets will include Investment Banks, Oil/Gas/Mining companies, Telco's, Pharmaceuticals, Legal and Professional Services along with some Public Sector accounts. The role will involve a mix of both new and existing business and although it is generally an internal based role there will be opportunities for national and European travel.

Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years business to business sales experience ideally selling into the corporate sector. Information sales experience would be advantageous but not essential. Selling largely at management / board level you will be able to relate to professionals working within these functions and be able to quickly identify specific buying criteria and related influencing factors. You will have first class communication and presentation skills along with the desire to carve out a professional career within this niche market. You will also be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to manage your own diary to ensure the business pipeline remains sufficient to achieve and exceed targets.

The successful candidate will be offered a package including base salary of 24-28k with a realistic and uncapped first year OTE of 35-45k rising in year 2. Additionally, there is a full benefits package.
