Basel II Reporting Global Markets

Basel II Project Management is a small team with overall responsibility for managing the Basel II Project affecting all aspects of the business.

The role is primarily about ensuring global monthly reporting of B2 exposures and Risk weighted assets for counterparty risk derived from OTC derivatives and Repo/reverse repo/stock borrowing and lending transactions on a monthly basis.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Getting an understanding of the B2 RWA calculations and rules
- Liaising with ca.10 sites and providing the respective appropriate guidance to your local contacts
- Collecting and aggregating large amount of data and being able to question data when necessary by liaising with the respective product control teams and if necessary to the business heads
- Liaising with Group FIN Central Reg reporting functions
- Provide business analyst support to IT in development of B2 systems

Once reporting is in place and processes are managed the candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of Reg Advising and reporting.

The successful candidate will have basic understanding of Global Markets products especially OTC derivatives and repo/reverse repo/stock borrowing and lending transactions and ability to learn. They will also have a good command of Excel & Access software, and must have excellent communication skills.
