Office Based Consultant (Mortgages)

My client is a UK market leader within the financial services and insurance industries and is now currently recruiting Office Based Consultants (Mortgages) to join their Intermediary Sales division for their Bristol office.

As an Office Based Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of mortgage business for both an individual panel of intermediaries and a joint panel with an aligned Account Manager by proactively building and managing the business relationship with the panel members. You will also be working closely with product specialists to provide high-quality advice of priority product offerings.

Initially working specifically on the mortgage side of the business, you will also be given the opportunity to be trained on the Life & Pensions division allowing you to increase your product knowledge and earnings potential.

Candidates will be required to achieve required activity levels and business targets in line with published company/centre targets and ensure exceeds published minimum standards set with annual benchmarking exercise. The ability to maintain high level of communication and build relationships with support teams is a must.

Possessing CFP/CeMAP and a willingness to study and pass job specific qualifications within agreed timescales, you will already have proven experience within the mortgage and/or financial services, preferably gained within the Intermediary market.

Salary: £18000 - £23000 per annum + excellent benefits
