Equity Derivatives Product Controller ? Volatility Trading

Working within a team of controllers, this candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the Global Equity Derivative business, timely and accurate reporting of revenues, reconciliation and investigation of FOBO discrepancies, and support and development of risk controls around trading activity.

Responsibilities:
- Production of daily P&L for some of the Equity Derivative Volatility trading books.
- Explanation of the Greeks and daily commentary using automated P&L attribution tool. This also includes liaison with Traders for daily sign-off
- Reconciliation of the daily P&L between the front and back office systems to understand the impact of FOBO breaks and help resolve where necessary
- Verification of prices, rates and parameters to independently mark allocated trading books
- Provide solutions to ad hoc queries from management, trading, marketing and other interested parties.
- Review of current processes and controls, leveraging off planned IT developments to improve the overall accuracy and efficiency of P&L delivery.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (or equivalent) and have good equity markets product knowledge. Good spreadsheet skills are also required.

- Initiative to challenge current processes and develop effective alternate solutions.
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment and cope with the demands of working to tight deadlines.
