Equity Derivatives Product Controller

Working within a team of controllers, this candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the Global Equity Derivative business, timely and accurate reporting of revenues, and reconciliation and investigation of FOBO discrepancies.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Production of daily P&L for some of the Equity Derivative Volatility trading books.
- Explanation of the Greeks and daily commentary using automated P&L attribution tool.
- Reconciliation of the daily P&L between the front and back office systems to understand the impact of FOBO breaks and help resolve where necessary
- Verification of prices, rates and parameters to independently mark allocated trading books
- Provide solutions to ad hoc queries from management, trading, marketing and other interested parties.
- Review of current processes and controls, leveraging off planned IT developments to improve the overall accuracy and efficiency of P&L delivery.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant, or have equivalent experience, and have excellent equity markets product knowledge. In addition they must have good spreadsheet skills (Access skills an advantage).
