Communications Executive is sought by my client, a well known and forward-thinking organisation based in the City of London. The main purpose of the Communications Executive role is to manage key marketing and communication projects with a topical focus at a strategic level and act as the main point of co-ordination for these projects with specific responsibility for website and content.
This is a really exciting role which offers lots of variety across many disciplines (such as PR, Marketing, Events and Press Team) and would involve:
- Creating and managing campaign content for the website
- Generating news content
- Project administration
- Development of broadcast content
- Measuring the effectiveness of campaigns
- Project managing events
- Developing and managing the contacts and marketing database
- Promoting the website
- Managing the production of branded materials
Key skills include:
- Project management
- Clear, concise and accurate communication
- Ability to lead, motivate and participate within a team
- Building and managing supplier relationships (ideally having worked with design agencies in the past)
- Working with and influencing senior executives
- An understanding of the insurance market is desirable
You will be commercially aware, able to take ownership of issues; confronting difficulties and following through upon difficult decisions and able to deliver on tasks and projects. The Communications Executive role will demand an individual who is a true communicator, able to assist others achieve their goals, share information, give feedback and involve others in decision-making. This will be a really demanding but rewarding role which offers a lot of scope for working with a variety of disciplines at all levels.
