Primary School Teacher - Reception Class

Well managed two form entry primary school situated in the heart of Hampstead are seeking a motivated and Early Years trained teacher to be responsible for their new Reception intake in January 2008. This is a two term post commencing January 2008 until July 2008. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of 30 pupils and will be supported by a full time Teaching Assistant. Pupils are predominantly from white British or European backgrounds with a small percentage of pupils coming from wide range of ethnic backgrounds. The school has been consistent in achieving and maintaining excellent standards of learning and behaviour and levels of pupil acheivement are well above the national average.

Candidates should ideally have previous/recent experience of teaching new entrants and will be expected to maintain the school's high standards of teaching and pupil achievement. Previous experience of teaching in the UK is strongly desirable. This is a great opportunity to work in one of London's leafy suburbs and benefit from working with an excellent teaching team.
