Event Analysis Clerk, Corporate Actions
The Company
Robert Half Financial Services Group are looking for an Event Analysis Clerk to work in the Corporate Actions department. The successful candidate should have 18 months to 2 years Corporate Actions experience.
The Role
Purpose Of The Job To review, analyse and enrich, where appropriate, all incoming Global Corporate Event Information for all markets, from all available sources. Once reviewed, all information should be recorded on our internal system and allocated to the relevant Broadcasting area. Internal SLA targets have to be met and all short external deadlines highlighted and advised to the Team Leaders/Line Manager. Main Activities To analyse all incoming Corporate Events. Review all incoming electronic messages and documents to decipher the corporate event type and ensure information provided is of the required standard in order that an accurate, informative and timely Broadcast Notification can be sent to our client base. Allocation of Corporate Events: Following the analysis of the information received, the event is to be recorded on an internal system (GICAD) before being allocated to the relevant team within Global Broadcasting. Information Enrichment: By reviewing all available sources of information, such as company web-sites, Telekurs, Bloomberg, UK Wire, company reports, Financial Times, to enhance the quality of our Broadcasts Agent Monitoring: Direct referral with our agents / sub custodians regarding any details of a SWIFT or event that are unclear. Any issues whereby an agent or sub custodian does not meet their SLA, e.g., incorrect formatting, non-receipt, timeliness, are to be raised immediately with the Business and Technical Solutions Team.ÔÔÔÔÔ Skills Knowledge of SWIFT Knowledge of GCS / Garage & Repair Organisation / Time Management skills Attention to detail Ability to contribute to team effort Accuracy Customer focused Knowledge of Message Distribution (Typhoon) Knowledge of PRECIS Knowledge of EXCEL
