The Company:
Our client is a fast growing and well-respected organisation, who is currently looking to recruit for Head of European Retail Marketing fluent speaker of English and German, French or Spanish for their office in West London.
The Role:
This role is required to support the local marketing teams in order to deliver improved and effective practice in retail marketing. Key to this role will be the development of an enhanced customer experience across the retail footprint and the development and application of new formats that support this experience and drive the quality of the brand in each market.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering retail marketing programmes across the Group, including visual merchandising, product interaction, fixture development, customer journey and experience, format development, space planning, category management, retail execution of key communication campaigns and brand consistency.
The Head of European Retail Marketing will be responsible for business case development in order to secure local marketing support and recharge budget in order to undertake any group-wide projects.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is likely to speak English as well as German, French or Spanish to business level or equivalent and has experience in an international environment. Significant experience of working in a customer focused role, preferably with experience in FMCG retailing. A broad knowledge of multi-sector retail practices and retail marketing excellence is a must. Commercial acumen, the ability to develop strategy and implementation, strong qualitative and quantitative research skills as well as the ability to identify key areas of development are fundamental. The applicant must show exceptional interpersonal skills and credibility within the business.
Salary/Additional Information:
The salary for this position is between £60,000 and £65,000 per annum depending on experience. The company also offers a very good benefits package.
