SEN Maths Teacher
Great opportunity for a Maths teacher looking to work with EBD children.
We require a Maths Teacher for PRU unit in Richmond.
You will be teaching KS2 3 and 4 (low ability). This is a small unit attached to a secondary school, and the children are troubled and need their social skills building and their self esteem restored by a patient, understanding, committed and creative teacher.
The school has only 15 pupils on the role, and there is a maximum of 3/5 pupils per class.
A Specialism in Maths is preferred and special experience strongly desired although not essential, if you feel that you have the right attitude and skills.
This post would suit someone with an air of authority, who is patient and calm and has the ability to relate to EBD pupils.
The right candidate will need to hold all relevant qualifications and submit to the required background checks.
