Alternative Investment Support


The Company

Robert Half Financial Services Group are looking for an Alternative Investment Support Administrator responsible for executing authorised C.I.S. deal instructions with external asset managers and internally for funds.

The Role

Duties To provide full support to the Private Equity fund managers including responsibility for establishment and maintenance of the Private Equity bespoke Accounting Frameworks software offering portfolio accounting and data maintenance. Ensuring that the service is of the highest quality, proactively reviewing procedures and processes to improve efficiency and manage risk. To support the supplier management programme and operations service delivery. To take on appropriate duties as assigned by the Manager. Responsible for all aspects of support to facilitate efficient fund management. This incorporates provision of consolidated daily fund information, investigation of performance variances, daily cash management, ownership of the process for setting up new Unit Trust Managers / investments, maintenance of all Unit Trust Manager static data, oversight of trailer commission and proactive resolution of issues across the organisation and with third party administrators. Role accountabilities Ensuring that all dealing is completed within the relevant external deadlines and conducted as per the negotiated terms Ensuring transactions are accurately recorded with appropriate information being communicated internally and externally Ensuring consolidated fund information is accurate and complete with issues resolved in a timely manner Ownership of Multi Manager and Absolute fund range issues. Ensuring counterparty standing data is accurate, up to date and accessible by all relevant areas Responsible for interface with counterparty sales support to ensure accuracy of standing data. Responsible for completion of counterparty set-up including application forms. Monthly review of trail commission schedules provided by Custody including reconciling to internal custody records. Trail commission / rebate management. Verification of fund accounting / pricing and reflection of securities and cash for trading on internal systems. Prepare daily performance comparisons. Assist the Manager in the production of timely and accurate management information on all processes within the team. Proactively review and update processes and procedures to ensure service provision is of the highest quality
