Institutional Fund Administrator


The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the operations team, for an Institutional Fund Administrator supporting all aspects of general Operations administration for the Segregated Institutional Managed Funds. The role is within a rapidly growing and successful West End based Investment firm.

The Role

The Role The successful candidate will work within the operations team and the core duties are as follows: General Administration: Adjust portfolio cash movements. Check Foreign Exchange deals against custodian banks confirmations. Inputting stock and cash transactions on Custodian system. Corporate actions, reading announcements and adjusting valuations. Institutional Administration: Reconcile positions against Third Party Administrator and adjust internal systems. Update portfolios to reflect cash or stock Income distributions. Producing reports, valuations, movements listing and any other supporting documentation in hard and soft copy for inclusion in Marketing / Investor relations documentation. Liaising with the Sales team on client queries and their reporting requirements. Fund Administration: Call reports from Custodian systems and post cash effective entries. Review portfolio for any Corporate Action adjustments Reconcile stock and cash positions on a weekly and monthly basis. Produce Net Asset Value calculations for Segregated funds, for review and sign off by the Fund manager. Liaising with administrator on broker set up and registration. Produce reports to clients own specification within an agreed deadline. Liaising with the Operations dealing team to ensure all deals are captured. Monitoring receipt of physical share certificates for unquoted investments. Systems: Portia, Bloomberg/POMS, Rufus / GTA, Dexia online, OLAP ( In house JOHCM dealing system ), Good knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets, Full Training will be given on all in house systems. Skills and Experience A minimum of five years experience in an operations, trading or fund administration role within the finance industry is essential. Strong mathematical ability with high level of accuracy Pro active, logical and methodical thinker. Computer literate with good Excel. Ability to work to deadlines and able to work effectively under pressure. Ability to work as part of team.

£33,000
