AVP - Credit Derivatives Product Controller
The Company
Robert Half international has been given an exclusive new mandate within the Credit Derivatives department of Fixed Income Product Control within the Product Control and Complex Product Support area.
The Role
This role will work closely with traders to understand their trading strategies and risks and help develop new products and support products tailored to client needs. Complex Product Support handles the operations activity for derivatives, commodities, structured products and fund-linked products. Complex Product Support management is aligned with Product Control to ensure the operational handling of these complex products supports the ability to correctly account for them. Credit Derivatives Product Control forms part of the Shared Services Infrastructure within the Product Control Division. The team is co-located between London and Singapore and currently consists of around 80 headcount with just under half based in London. The business looks after a variety of trades including synthetic CDO/correlation products, credit linked asset swaps, CPPI structures and structured CLN's as well as a variety of hedging products like credit default swaps, bonds and loans. The business has experienced significant growth in the last eighteen months. Currently there are several IT and process restructuring projects underway to make the processing of these trades more efficient and to enable the desk to continue to expand volumes.
Salary & Benefits
We are looking for candidates with a university background or equivalent work experience. The successful candidate will have experience in the Financial Services industry from either a Product Control or Management Information reporting environment. Base salary £50,000 - £60,000 + comprehensive benefits + bonus
