THE COMPANY

A large multinational firm with a wide range of offices both in the UK and Abroad and extensive coverage in the Road, Sea and Air Freight divisions.

THE ROLE

This role involves managing sea freight import contracts to achieve profit growth through the effective development of the team and ensuring that all individual and team targets are met.

As well as organising the safe efficient movement of goods on behalf of an exporter/importer, this role requires someone with strong negotiating skills as you will be negotiating with shipping lines on a regular basis.

Reporting to the senior directors, you will have full responsibility for Profit and Loss, and have several staff reporting to you.

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications and Experience

? It is necessary that you have solid commercial and personnel management experience gained from the import sea freight industry
? You must have an excellent level of literacy and numeracy
? You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
