Nuture teacher KS1/KS2
This social and culturally diverse Primary School situated in close proximity to Clapham Junction Station are seeking to appoint an experienced and child focused primary practitioner to work with small groups of pupils from Reception through to Key Stage 2. This is a new role that has been created within the school and is a temporary position which is due to run for the remainder of this academic year. The objective of this role is to provide more individualised/intensive tuition for pupils who will benefit from a more concentrated teacher input. The postholder will be working throughout the school with groups of 3/4 children from either end of the academic spectrum, some of whom will have learning and/or behaviour issues and involves close liaison with class teachers in order to ensure continuity and consistency of learning. Excellent communication and behaviour management strategies combined with the ability to foster positive relationships with pupils are essential. Previous experience of working in the UK , preferably in an inner city/multi-cultural environment is also desirable.
