Supervisor Nostro Investigations
The Company
Robert Half Financial Services Group are looking to recruit a candidate to join a Nostro Investigation department. The team carries out investigations relating to nostro and internal cash account items, interest claims, risk identification and verbal escalation reporting to Senior Management.
The Role
Main purpose of role To supervise the day to day workload for the Nostro investigations team (2-3 staff) To manage the day to day running of the team, maintaining their professional reputation with both internal and external clients Provide the team leader and VP with technical expertise and input of detail to team projects To be the point of contact between Nostro Investigations and Reconciliations management and individual team members Key responsibilities To actively participate in Nostro investigations on a daily basis To ensure all interest claims and internal cost allocations are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion. To justify overdraft and credit interest to ensure costs are effectively allocated and/or recouped. To instigate measures to ensure any errors or losses do not re-occur. Review of daily and weekly management information to highlight trends or deficiencies Set staff objectives in line with operations goals and perform staff appraisals. Key requirements Educated to a minimum of A-Level or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience within a top tier investment bank or financial institution Demonstrate strong team player and team leadership skills. Provide guidance to team members in order that their own assignments are delivered in a clear and controlled manner. Willingness to receive and give constructive feedback
