Executive (To manage commodity operations), Trade Finance
Purpose:
To process Commodity Trade Finance Flows, to include Letters of Credit, Advances, Guarantees and Bonds in a cost efficient manner, ensuring adherence to all Procedures.
To manage the commodity operations team within Trade Finance
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1) Manage and supervise all Trade Finance business flows from Global Trade Finance Division and other departments as necessary in relation to commodity clients, while adhering to appropriate business plans.
2) Ensuring all transactions and reporting are processed and settled on a timely basis, with priority given to Commodity based transactions in conjunction with section Head.
3) Identify and resolve errors promptly and report promptly to Section Head and/or Global Trade Finance Division.
4) Ability to cross train self and others.
5) Adherence and support of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Knowledge & Skills:
* Previous man management experience.
? Expected to have a deep understanding of the Trade products and Guarantees that are dealt with by Mizuho, London Branch with an emphasis of focus on Commodity Trading Business and the requirements of Commodity Trading Clients.
? Expected to have an understanding of systems used to complete trade finance and commodity trading companies work
? Demonstrable knowledge on Money Laundering procedures.
? Awareness of prohibited individuals, companies, countries and commodities as advised by the Bank of England sanction list and other leading regulators such as the USA OFAC sanctions.
? Demonstrable knowledge of ICC UCP 600, and other ICC publications.
? Demonstrable knowledge of UK Proceeds of Crime Act.
? Demonstrable skills in assisting with team building.
? System use skills on Microsoft Office Manager Products.
Salary: £60-65K
