Director Sales and Marketing
Role Summary;
Prime functions are to increase market visibility and customer awareness by a systematic targeting of potential customers with the ultimate goal of increasing market share and achieving the increased sales forecast as defined in the company Long Range Forecast.
Key Responsibilities;
?X the high level promotion of current products and services within the aviation business to airlines, lessors and financiers via conferences and customer meetings.
?X identifying new customer opportunities in any of our core products and for conversion of those opportunities into sales, identifying joint venture opportunities and evaluation of new markets as dictated by the Marketing Plan.
?X The production and implementation of a marketing plan for Technical Service Products, Materials Division products and EFPAC software system.
Principal Responsibilities and Activities:

Technical Knowledge ?X Effectively communicate Technical expertise and services to customers, suppliers and potential joint venture partners.
?X Use technical expertise and knowledge to secure new business in accordance with agreed sales targets.
?X Ensure new literature produced accurately reflects the key elements of Engineering and Materials Division services.
?X Ensure EFPAC product literature accurately portrays and projects the key attributes of the product in the market place.
Industry Awareness ?X Deliver board level presentations on marketplace, clearly demonstrating up to date industry knowledge.
?X Secure new customers in accordance with agreed targets and identify areas for new product development and enhancement of services through industry awareness.
?X Maintain up to date market information on current and potential customers and collate and share this information within the relevant divisions and team members.
?X present competitor analysis data to Directors in report format on a quarterly basis.
Commercial Awareness ?X Make decisions and recommendations which consider the impact on all key stakeholders, minimising risk, while providing the required sales revenues, operating margins and return on investment.
?X Secure new business within agreed sales plan from the required target customer base for the right product/service type.
?X Consider the level of returns achievable from the required investments.
?X Make operational decisions that contribute to maximising quality standards, minimising risks or any adverse impact on costs and maximising revenues across the divisions.
Financial Awareness ?X Proactively contribute to annual company budget planning process.
?X Manage costs within agreed budget levels.
Planning and Organising ?X Achieve results that are proportional to number of customer visits and industry conference attendance.
?X Maintain and effectively communicate up to date contacts and targets through a database with full customer and supplier details.
?X Plan and make visible proposed action plan / visit plan with reasoned justification.
?X Translate plans and goals effectively in to results.
?X Have a demonstrated presence at supplier visits and conferences.
?X Produce a formal marketing plan for Directors on an annual basis.
?X Provide quarterly information on the position relative to market presence and market reach.
