This IT solutions company helps enterprises to take control of the Data Centre with bespoke solutions that encompass business and technical consultancy, design, project management and implementation - along with the support and training necessary to ensure long-term performance and maximum return on investment.

Their courses and business solutions are well renowned and widely recognised in the industry making them a very successful organisation. Now seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join their friendly but busy team they are seeking a highly capable individual who can hit the ground running based on previous experience and the right attitude.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide effective and efficient high quality support and administration for Customers and Account Managers during both the pre-sales and post-sale processes.

The holder of this position will also be expected to be the key contact both customers and account managers, providing vital continuity from the pre-sales activities, through processing customers' orders, liaison with suppliers and internal technical staff to ensure a project is delivered and completed to the customers' satisfaction.

Main duties:

· Work closely with account managers and technical pre-sales consultants to understand customers' specific needs
· Support the account managers by preparing quotes for customers using a range of pricing and configuration tools
· Liaise with key suppliers to obtain pricing information, configuration advice and allocation of stock
· Process customer orders and ensure all specific details are correct
· Take a pivotal role in co-ordination between the customer and other company departments to ensure high service levels are met
· Provide a friendly and helpful point of contact for the company's customers to assist with all forms of enquiry
· Maintain the customer database with all relevant information relating to the customers opportunity

Qualifications/education required:
· 5 GCSE passes, including C grade or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification or experience
· University Degree or other equivalent qualification or experience

Experience required:

Essential:
· Proven track record in providing excellent customer service
· Proven track record in good team working skills
· Intermediate level use of Microsoft Word and Excel

Highly advantageous:
· Previous experience of telephone customer working
· Previous experience of working in an IT company
· Previous experience of working in private sector industry
· Previous experience of working in a fast paced environment
· Attention to detail

Interest in IT would also be a great benefit to the role




This role is very much seen as a greatly contributory and of high importance to the Sales team, as such the Sales Administrator will have the opportunity to take part in client entertainment.
