Head of Compliance
Our client urgently requires 'Head of Compliance' for a national company based in Crawley.
Salary indications: Negotiable
Brief Job Spec.:
Responsible for monitoring compliance and regulatory programmes, for example FSA, money laundering, Sarbannes Oxley, CCA, NMGI, DMD.
Implement operational changes to support new regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to these changes.
Responsible for the management of all compliance and regulatory requirements ensuring that risk and governance profile and operational stability are maintained.
Responsible for completion and maintenance of Risk Reporting and onward communication and sign off by SMT.
Driving the operational centre to ensure compliance to regulation.
Provide support, advice and expertise on all compliance and regulatory requirements to the centre
Essential
- Strong understanding of planning methods, techniques and tools
- Able to work both on own initiative and to drive the priorities of others
- Awareness of the needs of the FSA, NMGI, SOX, CCA etc and so on.
- Evidence of an adaptability to change.
- Proven experience of working within a large contact centre environment.
- Satisfies the FSA criteria for an approved person, both initially and ongoing
Preferred
- Project management accreditation
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
Knowledge of the existing compliance and regulatory requirements
