Infrastructure Project Manager

Based mainly in the Warwick the project managers fulfil the role of Service Implementation Managers (SIMs). SIMs apply the PRINCE2 based SI processes to the specific requirements of IT projects where the end result is a new or modified IT production service being handed over to the operational teams. Previous experience and a proven track record of managing IT infrastructure projects is essential Skills; Project Management PRINCE 2 or similar methodology Broad knowledge/understanding of IT infrastructure technologies Issue and escalation management Relationship management Resource management and PMO interface Project status reporting Risks and issues Management Budget Management Desirable Service Implementation (SI) processes Acceptance Criteria definition Project QA processes Good knowledge (through previous experience) of Wintel/UNIX systems or Network architectures and components Certes is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
